Why Skill trees?

In order to avoid the common pitfall of current Web3 games, with tapering reward curves and repetitive tasks that only serve to fatigue players; House of Sparta will employ a skill tree approach. This approach means that users will be dedicate time and resources to specific activities. Operating such activities will allow users to unlock perks & bonuses which they will in-turn be able to purchase with Electrum.

How will they be used :

  • Used for unlocking new building and unit upgrades

  • A way for the player to see and track their own progression, making strategic decisions based on their playstyle

  • Separate skill tree for each building, accessed by clicking on the building in the Province Manager (out-of-battle)

  • Skill tree nodes unlocked via XP: Once unlocked, each node must be purchased using Electrum + any other required resources

  • The more skill nodes you unlock, the better your rewards from battle will be: This represents a natural progression curve with the player gaining more resources while things become progressively harder to unlock It also rewards dedication to the game
